Sunday Morning: 9:45 – 10:45 (Sunday School)

2 years old – 4th grade Sunday School
Our Sunday School program teaches Biblical truths in a classroom setting. Children will learn Biblical truths through stories, activities and crafts.

Route 56 (5th – 6th grade)
The 5th and 6th grade boys and girls meet in separate classes for Bible study, fellowship and discipleship. Each class has their own unique curriculum. Contact Zach Warner or Pat Landers for more info.

Sunday Morning: Both Services during Sermon

Children's Church
Every Sunday, when the children are dismissed prior to the sermon, we focus on teaching great Bible truths in our Children's Church.

During the second service, the curriculum is taught with the goal in mind to have every child grow as Jesus "...and Jesus grew in stature and favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52).  We want every child who participates in our curriculum, “252 Basics,” to grow up and say:

1. I need to make the wise choice so I will

  • Trust and follow JESUS.
  • Spend time getting to know GOD.
  • Do whatever GOD says.
  • Discover GOD's unique plan for my life.

2. I can trust God no matter what because

  • He is my CREATOR
  • He is my FATHER
  • He is my GUIDE
  • He is my SAVIOR
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated so I will
  • Show GOD's love to those around me.
  • Care enough to put OTHERS before me.
  • Respect whoever GOD puts over me.
  • Be the right FRIEND to those beside me.

We believe that it is vital to get parents and kids on the same page. This is why the BCBC Children’s Ministry provides relevant resources to help parents do the real discipling of their kids. Each week we introduce and inspire children to go beyond Sundays and really engage a Biblical truth in fun, age-appropriate ways with their parents.

That's Why each child will take home a “Refrigerator Door” tool to place in a prominent place in his home to provide talking points about each week’s theme and a God Time card. God Time Cards are a 4-day devotional for children and parents covering truths taught the past weekend.

We will also provide the opportunity to purchase monthly Family Times Virtue packs to be used in your home that are specific reminders and examples of the virtue being taught each week.

Wednesday Evening: 6:30 – 8:00

age 3 – 6th Grade
AWANA meets during Wednesday night Focus Ministries during the school year, from 6:30-8:00 PM.  AWANA is a great time of games, Scripture memory, evangelism and discipleship. Contact Dwight Walker for more information.

Ages 2 & 3
AWANA Puggles teaches toddlers simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music and more.  Then parents (an AWANA Puggles first and best teacher) can step in to reinforce the lessons with take-home cards that include ideas to point out God's work each day.

Age 3 to Kindergarten
The Cubbies curriculum features two handbooks written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. Each section combines basic Scripture memory with parent-child activities to help a child grasp a simple biblical truth.

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
The AWANA club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper into God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.

3rd – 6th Grade
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of AWANA to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
