Hello and welcome to the Construction Zone (Children’s
Ministry)! It is our hope that this website will give you
more information about who we are and what we are all
about. We exist to help families build Christ-like
believers.
We are committed to creating discipleship environments that:
Are founded in biblical teaching
Partner with families in raising Godly children
Invite all children to become followers of Jesus Christ
Create an environment that is loving and safe
Are committed to building Godly relationships
Our desire is that Sunday morning and Wednesday evening will
be the best times in a kid’s life. Our mission is to assist
families by providing age-appropriate environments that
direct the biblical and spiritual journey of our kids. There
are four discipleship environments in Construction Zone.
They are Nursery, DiscipleLand, DiscipleTown, and Awana

caring volunteers, simple Bible stories and a warm
environment.
DiscipleLand
Discipleland is a discipleship-centered, Bible based
ministry that helps parents and teachers transform children
into lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Kids will grow in
Bible knowledge, Christ-like Character, and faithful
conduct.

web-based curriculum that uses engaging activities to introduce
pre-school children (ages two to five) to God. First Look
gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the
wonder of His love for each one of them.
DiscipleTown
(Elementary Children’s Church 11:00)
DiscipleTown is a creative, Bible-centered age appropriate
worship time that teaches practical skills for spiritual
growth.
Parent Pages are available for
parents to print out at home in order to reinforce the lessons that
are taught during children's church each Sunday morning. The
preschool parent pages are "Parent Cue". The elementary parent pages

Age 3
to Kindergarten
The Cubbies
curriculum features two handbooks written in a fun, storybook style
that appeals to preschoolers. Each section combines basic Scripture
memory with parent-child activities to help a child grasp a simple
biblical truth.
Cubbies schedule
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
The Awana club for children in kindergarten
through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool
club. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper
into God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular
opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
3rd – 6th Grade
The name Truth
& Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third-
through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word
and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
